TECHNICAL SPECS MID SIZE

The DECKED system can hold a load of 1 000 kg, distributed evenly.  Furthermore, DECKED’s load rating is designed for a “real world” 1 000 kg. What does this mean? If you hit a pothole, that will significantly increase the stress on DECKED for a moment in time and the system can handle that. Lastly, if your load is not evenly distributed, you might overload the system.

For instance, if you placed 1 000 kg onto the DECKED system on a 4′ x 4′ pallet, then the loading per m2 is about double what our system is designed to handle.  There’s nothing magical here, just good engineering and known limits. If you plan to place concentrated and/or very heavy loads on the decks, you might add a thick piece of plywood to spread the load over that larger area.

DECKED spent 18 months investigating materials that would work. HDPE is a common material that, when formed with DECKED’s proprietary tools and process, results in an unusually durable, rigid and weatherproof system. We add a UV enhancer to the material to protect it from the sun’s harmful rays. When this material is precision formed, meticulously engineered, and supported by a steel sub frame, the result is DECKED.

The DECKED system measures 305 mm in height as measured from the top of bed ribs to the top of the DECKED system.

No. DECKED has been tested and approved passing the FVMVSS 302 flammability certifications a test which included our system and all of our accessories. This standard allows for a 102mm/sec burn rate and DECKED passed at 32.6mm/sec. Our main material, HDPE, is self-extinguishing. However, lighting yourself on fire and crawling into a drawer is still not recommended.

COMPATIBILITY

Yes! DECKED fits midsize trucks including like Tacoma, Colorado, Canyon and Frontier in North America as well as for vehicles like the HiLux, Amarok, Navarra and Ranger internationally. Each DECKED system is designed to custom fit your truck like a glove and is easily removed or reinstalled. Refer to our product selector for a complete fitment guide.

Stay tuned on social media or sign up for our email newsletter for more information on new releases.

PRODUCT SELECTOR

DECKED does not sell system for most extended vans. With the extended body, the DECKED System sits too far forward of the rear door opening and it was not ergonomically feasible, especially in reguard to Sprinter vans.

Please refer to our fitment guide: FITMENT GUIDE

This system WILL NOT FIT extended vans or Transit vans with dual rear wheels. The dual rear wheels will protrude inbound into the space where our drawers reside.

You know it chairman! Released in summer 2017 we use our 75.25″ long “standard” length system engineered to fit an 8′ bed. Once installed there will be between 17″ and 20″ of space cab-side where you can fit a crossover toolbox or a fuel transfer tank. Read more about this fitment and compatible products here.

Not at this time. We have added these ideas to our product review process.

Yes! We now fit the RamBox! Check it out here: DECKED DRAWER SYSTEM FOR RAMBOX

No. The Chevy Avalanche’s bed dimensions are too narrow for DECKED.

Nope. We designed the DECKED system with spray-in bed liners in mind. We have taken into account the normal additional volume and created enough lateral space to accommodate a spray-in liner (unless your installer went crazy with the amount of material they added to your truck bed) you should be fine.

Note: some of our systems require that you replace the factory tie-down brackets. You will need to heat up the spray-in material, cut around the tie-down bracket and then peel the spray-in material away. It is recommended that you use a heat gun or hair dryer to warm the spray-in material. Once you have removed the bracket, you can install the new bracket that comes with your DECKED system.

No, because we have engineered our DECKED system to fit your bed tightly, your plastic bed liner will have to go.

Yes, DECKED does work with Bed Rug mat. Just be aware it will be a very snug fit, and initially the wheels will wear on the rug until they wear through enough to roll smoothly.

As far as the Bed Rug full liner goes, it will be very snug..we don’t really recommend it, especially if there is a spray in liner as well.

An F150 with model year 2014 or earlier and a Super Duty (F250 or F350) with model year 2016 or earlier with the factory step have a bump on the driver’s side of the open tailgate, which will interfere with the opening of the DECKED drawer on that side. The 2015 – current F150 and 2017 – current F250/F350 models have the improved step and do not have a bump on the tailgate and will not impact the installation or use of your DECKED system.

There are three possibilities for a successful installation:

1) If you already have a spray-in liner, your DECKED may reside high enough so that the drawer clears the handle.

2) You can purchase cable extenders to offset the ramp angle of your tailgate. We have not tested this product, but here are some more details so you can see if this will work for your needs. Hope this helps!Rider Tailgate Accessories has developed an innovative new truck accessory called the Tailgate Lowering Links which, when added to the existing tailgate support cables on a truck, allow the tailgate to lay flat.

For example, the tailgate on a 2013 Ford Super Duty is about 1.5 inches higher than the bed. With the Rider Tailgate accessory, model FD1, the Links allow the tailgate to lay flat or about 1.5 inches lower than the level of the bed.

Rider Tailgate Links are constructed to allow the tailgate to be lowered without the tailgate contacting the bumper. The amount of tailgate drop varies from 3 to 5.25 inches depending on the truck. This patented product is the only product on the market that lets consumers lower, and use, their tailgate in a position that is lower than the conventional open position. Rider Tailgate Lowering Links are engineered for strength and performance. To learn more about this innovative patented product or to see what other truck models they fit, call at 801-678-1405 or visit their website at RIDERTAILGATE.COM. Check out this blog post for suggestions on how to change ramp angle of tailgate: BLOG POST

3)You can easily remove the handle and purchase the following Ford part(s) to cover up the opening where the handle resides:

F150 – AL3Z 99000A38 EB. Retail – $64.29
F250 – AC3Z 99000A38 AA. Retail – $64.29

F150 Platinum: If you have the Platinum version (prior to 2015 – non aluminum) of the F150 and the tailgate step, using the tailgate extenders can result in the Platinum plate hitting the bumper and marring the plate. Removing the handle may be a better option for this application.

The bed lights on the new aluminum F150 reside above the DECKED system.

The switch for the bed lights located on the left (driver’s side) bed wall do reside beneath the DECKED system; however, it is accessible by reaching to the left side of the ammo can in that location. You can trigger the switch here, or you can turn on and off with the switch located in the cab of your truck.

The box cleat system on the F150 also resides above the DECKED surface, however the ramp option for this system cannot be used in conjunction with DECKED.

Yes! DECKED is compatible with gun racks like Kolpin. Click here for best practices: DECKED DRAWERS COMPATIBLE WITH GUN RACKS.

The towing package on the RAM 2500 and 3500 is NOT compatible with DECKED. The lighting harness protrudes too far into the bed and interferes with the tailgate ammo can placement. The RAM 1500 IS compatible with DECKED.

Other towing packages such as a fifth wheel, or goose neck are also NOT compatible with DECKED.

There are many side mount toolboxes which clamp to the bed rail and do not require modifying DECKED at all. But, you will need to measure your truck and find a toolbox which would allow the system clearance.

Most all of these have legs which support the back side of the toolbox by resting on the bed of the truck. You will need to look for a box with a “C” dimension which would rest the box on the system. This dimension would need to be equal to the measurement of bedrail to floor minus the height of the DECKED system (12″).

Access to the outlet and both storage compartments will be compromised.

You may remove the storage compartment doors for limited access. Use will be compromised, but hey, life ain’t always fair, right?! NOTE: you must do this before you install the DECKED system into your Tacoma.

The power outlet can still be used if you insert a flat head pigtail extension cord BEFORE you install the decks. Make sure to have the outlet capped to keep water out. A low profile pigtail such as one like this will work. See images below. One can install a weather proof cover over female end of the pigtail when not in use.

PLEASE NOTE: Some Tacoma/Tundra’s come with aftermarket bed lighting kits. Light modification of your system may be required if you have this option. A small sliver of the deck may need to be cut away or shaved down (using a keyhole saw or surform) to create space for your lights.

Access to the outlet will be compromised. The power outlet can still be used if you insert a flat head pigtail extension cord BEFORE you install the decks. Make sure to have the outlet capped to keep water out. A low profile pigtail such as one like this will work. See images below. One can install a weather proof cover over female end of the pigtail when not in use. Modifications may beed to be made to the outlet cover, or the cover removed entirely before install.

The bed lights will mostly be obscured [circled in red below].

Flat pigtail extension cord:

The DECKED system sits 305 mm high installed. In order for a retractable tonneau cover to work with our system you will need to make sure you have enough room between the top of the DECKED and the bottom-most part of the canister. This distance could be different for each vehicle so you will need to measure what space will be available in your truck after deducting the DECKED height and confirming the dimensions of the canister.

We are fairly confident that Retrax is NOT compatible with DECKED (11 5/8″ deep canister) but the Roll-N-Lock M-Series (7 1/4″ deep canister) and Pace Edwards Switchblade (9 3/4″ deep canister) may work. If you have found any other brands that work with DECKED please let us know at [email protected]!

No. It needs to be removed prior to DECKED install.

No.

We do not fit the four-door short bed (5′ 6″) Ford F-150 SuperCrew made from 2001 through 2003 or the similar sized truck in 2004-2009 badged as the SuperCrew Heritage. We do not fit any Ford flairside or stepside trucks. The bed dimensions are just too small with the rounded tailgate.

Ford recently offered a new Pro Power Onboard electrical generator system as an add on option for the F150. You can still install a DECKED System with the new Pro Power Onboard electrical generator, but access to the outlets will be compromised. The lower plugs and upper buttons are mostly accessible, but the upper left 4 prong plug will not be accessible as cover will not open up fully.

No. The DECKED drawer system is not compatible with the optional bed mounded spare tire for the new RAM TRX launched in 2021.

No. DECKED does not fit the 2021 Trail Special Edition with the driver’s side insulated storage in the truck bed for Tacoma or Tundra.

gENERAL QUESTIONS

DECKED is 305 mm in total height. See all technical specs here:

TECHNICAL SPECS FULL SIZE

TECHNICAL SPECS MID SIZE

Made of 100% recycled high density polyethylene (HDPE) that rests on a sub frame made of ~40 pounds of steel, the DECKED system delivers a true 2000 lbs deck distributed payload rating.

The DECKED system will weigh between 100 – 105 kg depending on the system.

The DECKED system can handle a true 1 000 kg. deck load rating. DECKED can handle just about anything your factory truck bed can withstand. However, this isn’t a license to shut off your brain. If you drop a 1 000 kg. cannonball on the deck it will damage it, just like it would wreck your truck bed.

NOTE: If you have a heavy, footed, or wheeled load, place a piece of plywood underneath to distribute the load.

Yes, DECKED has undergone extensive tests with the OE’s regarding crash testing and durability of our drawer systems.

We are approved by MOPAR, GM and Toyota engineering in Australia, all of which performed very extensive tests.

DECKED drawers are weatherproof, but you can still get some water in them as they don’t seal like Tupperware.  Anything that is airborne, like mist, dust, or really fine particle snow can get in the drawers – usually in small amounts.  In most cases the drawers will stay dry, but please use caution (e.g. car washes).  Also, the four ammo cans are not waterproof, but you can drill drain holes in the bottoms if you wish.

Short water test video of the DECKED system:

The DECKED ammo cans are not waterproof, they are structural elements that are located in each corner of the DECKED system. These also act as secondary storage bins, but the ammo cans are not waterproof. There are dimples in the bottom of each ammo can that allow you to drill drain holes, or not, depending on your preference.

The DECKED system is precision formed to match the as-designed geometry & dimensions of your truck. Unfortunately, truck beds aren’t manufactured perfectly. They vary from left to right, and the bed, is usually not perfectly flat. If you center your DECKED unit perfectly on the center rib (or trough) of your truck bed, and there is variation in the deck-edge gap, then that’s just cuz’ your bed isn’t square.

Yes, the DECKED system can handle a true 1 000 kg. deck load rating so feel free to load up that ATV, snowmobile, or moto. For loading an ATV or other 4 wheeled items, we’ve found that these Titan ramps work great with the DECKED system. Or for a motorcycle try this Titan ramp.

NOTE: Make sure to place a piece of 3/4″ plywood under ATV to avoid long term effects.

2004 was a transition year for Ford and as such they produced old and new body styles in the 2004 model year with a 6’6″ bed length. So, for a time, both body types were being sold as 2004 models.

If you do NOT have a stepped down passenger and driver side door windows, you have the older F-150, or “Heritage” version. If this is the case, select the DECKED product F-150 1997-2004 Heritage edition.

If you have the “step down” side windows (see image below) you have the “new” 2004 version thus you will select the DECKED F-150 2004-current, bed length 5’6″ or 6’6″.

NOTE: DECKED DOES NOT fit the full size four-door short bed (5’6″) Ford F-150 SuperCrew made from 2001 through 2003 or the similar sized truck in 2004 badged as the SuperCrew Heritage.  The bed dimensions are just too small with the rounded tailgate. If you have any questions please give us a call so we can make sure you order the correct DECKED system.

2007 was a transition year for Chevy and GMC, and as such, they produced old and new body styles in the 2007 model year with both a 5’9″ and 6’6″ bed.  So, for a time, both body types were being sold as 2007 models.

If you have a 2-part headlight array and only modest body flare (see image), you have the older Silverado/Sierra, or “Classic” version. If this is the case, select the DECKED SILVERADO 1999-2007 or SIERRA 1999-2007 Classic edition, bed length 5’9″ or 6’6″.

If you have a single-part headlight array with more significant body flare, (see image) you have the “new” 2007 version thus you will select the DECKED SILVERADO 2007-Current or SIERRA 2007-Current, bed length 5’9″ or 6’6″.

We found this company, which makes an extension for your tailgate cables. This allows you to offset the ramp angle of your tailgate. We have not tested this product, but here is a bit more details so you can see if this will work for your needs.  Hope this helps!

Rider Tailgate Accessories has developed an innovative new truck accessory called the Tailgate Lowering Links which, when added to the existing tailgate support cables on a truck, allow the tailgate to lay flat.

For example, the tailgate on a 2013 Ford Super Duty is about 1.5 inches higher than the bed (See Photo). With the Rider Tailgate accessory, model FD1, the Links allow the tailgate to lay flat or about 1.5 inches lower than the level of the bed (See Photo):

Rider Tailgate Links are constructed to allow the tailgate to be lowered without the tailgate contacting the bumper.  The amount of tailgate drop varies from 3 to 5.25 inches depending on the truck.  This patented product is the only product on the market that lets consumers lower, and use, their tailgate in a position that is lower than the conventional open position.

Rider Tailgate Lowering Links are engineered for strength and performance. To learn more about this innovative patented product or to see what other truck models they fit, visit their website at RIDERTAILGATE.COM

Anything you put in the back of your truck can scratch or wear the paint, including DECKED. DECKED may blemish your paint and possibly even scratch it a little if grit and whatnot gets under the supporting members of the bed. Nothing other than light cosmetic damage can be expected.

Yes, we offer financing through Klarna. This is available as a payment option at check-out.

No. No strap or tie down of any kind is compatible with the edge of the deck panels or the Ammo Can holes. These points were not designed for ratchet straps or other tie downs. It can result in the edge of the panel or other deck pieces breaking off.

Accessories

No, accessories are sold separately. And they will make your DECKED system a whole lot better.

Yes! If you are looking to permanently mount tracks that provide a strong, low profile attachment point for Yakima or Thule rack systems, we have you covered. Our T-Track 6063 T5 aluminum alloy, is anodized clear, and will fit a DECKED system. The track length is 48″ (for 5’5″ truck beds) or 58″ long (for 6’6″ truck beds), 1 5/8″ wide and .45″ tall, and can be oriented towards the cabside or tailgate side of your truck bed. These T-tracks have been custom manufactured to align with the steel tubes in your DECKED deck part. Each set of T-tracks come with two tracks and stainless steel mounting screws.

You will need:

Here are T-Track Installation Instructions

NOTE: Midsize T-Tracks not available yet!

One of the coolest features of the DECKED system is that you can use your drawers as large traveling coolers. With our added drain plug accessory kit you can just park your truck on a flat surface, unscrew the plug, and let gravity do the rest. Once the water has drained, take a rag and wipe out any extra water, reinstall the plug, and you are ready to go!

DECKED drain plugs are compatible with full-size SHORT (64.5″ in length) systems and midsize systems. However, unless you are Kareem Abdul Jabbar the drain plug location, on our standard 6’6″ bed system, is out of reach. We missed that one in the design process. Unless you have 4′ long arms you’ll have a hard time reaching the plug to drain the water out of your drawer. Therefore we DO NOT recommend this accessory for Standard length systems.

Drain plugs are meant to be placed in the cabside/driver end of DECKED because pickup truck beds naturally drain toward the cab, not the tailgate. That is why our drain plugs are recommended to be placed cabside. Placing the drain plug in the tailgate end of the drawer may also cause it to drag on your tailgate when the drawer is loaded. Note: If you prefer, you can drill a small hole in the tailgate end of the drawers (there is a dimple to get your hole started) to create a simpler solution (but that will also create an opportunity for water intrusion).

To see if the DECKED system for your van or truck takes a short DECKED system (will fit drain plugs) or standard DECKED system (will NOT fit drain plugs), please check the ‘overview’ section in the product page or contact us at [email protected].

While our accessory line does have a few solutions for you, Quick Fist is a great answer for creating more ways to organize and store items in your drawers.  You can check out Quick Fist here.  You will need to drill holes in your drawers and be mindful that the connecting hardware needs to sit flush to surfaces so as not to hang up on the bed or system when opening/closing drawers.

Additionally, guns can be stored and held in place using foam inserts or this product from Kolpin. Just note that Kolpin racks may not fit all rifles with scopes due to the height at which they hold the gun. In some instances guns held in these racks may not allow drawer to close.

Kaizen Foam Inserts are a great way to further customize our weatherproof D-Box toolbox. Set your D-Boxes to hold hand tools, cordless tool sets, fishing tackle, emergency gear, your camping kitchen, bug-out kit or whatever else you can imagine.

Full-size trucks require no drilling to install. We have designed and engineered the DECKED system to utilize your full-size truck’s existing tie-downs.

Some midsize trucks and vans may require a small amount of drilling to install depending on the make, model and year. In every case it is only a minor amount (4-6 holes) and our instructions offer clear guidance as to how do this properly.

All midsize systems except the Colorado/Canyon will require the installation of new tie-down mounts.

All 8′ options will require the installation of new tie-down mounts.

If you own a newer short bed Ford F-150 or a Ford Super Duty or a Toyota Tundra you will need to remove your factory tie-downs and replace them with the hardware we have included with your system. The Fords require changing out the cabside tie downs only. The Tundra requires that all four be swapped out.

Some cargo van systems also require installation of DECKED tie-down mounts.

uSE AND LIMITATIONS

The DECKED system can hold a load of 1 000 kg, distributed evenly

DECKED can withstand a load rating of 22 kg per square foot, so if you have something heavy to carry, please put a piece of plywood down first.  Use common sense; if it’s heavy, SPREAD THE LOAD.

DECKED’s load rating is designed for a “real world” 1 000 kg. What does this mean? If you hit a pothole, that will significantly increase the stress on DECKED for a moment in time and the system can handle that. Lastly, if your load is not evenly distributed, you might overload the system. For instance, if you placed 1 000 kg onto the DECKED system on a 4′ x 4′ pallet, then the loading per sf is about double what our system is designed to handle.  There’s nothing magical here, just good engineering and known limits. If you plan to place concentrated and/or very heavy loads on the decks, you might add a thick piece of plywood to spread the load over that larger area.

NOTE: Make sure to place a piece of 3/4″ plywood under ATV to avoid long term effects.

The drawers are not sealed tight like a Tupperware lid, so some airborne particulates (dust and fine particle snow; the kind of snow that happens when the temperature is really cold), can get into the drawers, although not in significant quantities. This isn’t a common occurrence but it can happen. This condition will be worse if you don’t have a tailgate, or your tailgate is down. Lastly, if you don’t install the weatherstrips on the drawers this condition will be worse.

You can puncture the deck if you drop quite heavy (25+ kg.) or pointy objects from about 1 meter above the deck. Basically, anything that would cause your truck’s metal bed to get bent or punctured, might puncture the deck. No normal use will cause the deck to get punctured, the HPDE and steel are stout.

No and yes. No in normal use cases but yes if the drawers are loaded >45 kg each (and depending on the ramp angle of your tailgate). The drawers are pretty stout and they can easily handle 90 kg each, but the bottoms of the drawers will sag slightly under big loads.

The DECKED drawers were designed to accommodate 90 kg each. When the drawer is fully extended that places a large/leveraged load upwards onto the deck. We chose a compromise that limits the extension but still minimized the height of the DECKED system and the deck itself. This also allowed for a taller drawer.

Yes. The topside hardware and all the metal parts of the DECKED system are coated with rust inhibitors or they’re made of stainless steel. That means that all these parts will rust slower……but they’ll still rust. We’ve used rust inhibitors that are beyond OEM specs, but they’ll still rust over time. The stainless steel will also rust even though it’s not supposed to.

We designed DECKED, using the exact engineering drawings from each of the truck manufacturing companies, for as snug a fit as possible.  If you have a drop in bed liner, we won’t fit; the drop in needs to be removed.

Note: Pickup truck bed dimensions are NOT precise and there needs to be a little slack along the DECKED deck edge to accommodate the manufacturers’ slop.

If you ordered/received the wrong system, STOP…DON’T OPEN…CALL US IMMEDIATELY.

Some aftermarket lighting, tie down, or towing packages may have elements that will interfere with DECKED and void the warranty. Be sure to contact us with any questions..

The GM models are so similar (symmetrical front to back) that it’s easy to put the deck panels on backwards – will result in a close fit, but won’t fit; need to remove the panels and swap the left for right.

Yes. Also, your DECKED system comes with a three year limited warranty. Contact us or send us an email at [email protected]. We want to hear what happened, see some pictures, and figure out the next best steps to address the issue.

Decked tool box faqs

The DECKED Tool Box will fit in all full size trucks that were manufactured in 2001 – present.

The DECKED Tool Box can work with older trucks if the length between your bed rails is 1 558,9 – 1 790,7 mm. This should be the measurement from the left inside bed rail to the right inside bed rail.

The DECKED Drawer System is NOT COMPATIBLE with the DECKED Tool Box for any short 1 676 mm or standard 1 981 mm bed length trucks.

The DECKED Tool Box will work with all 2 438 mm DECKED Drawer System SKUs except for the DG5. The DG9 and DG10 must have a production run date of 1/19/21 or later to be compatible with the DECKED Tool Box.

Feel free to contact us to confirm fitment prior to placing your order.

DG5: GM Sierra GMT 900 or Silverado 2 438 mm (2007-2019) – 1 981 mm system

DG9: GM Sierra or Silverado 1500 2 438 mm (2020-current) – New “wide” bed width – 1 981 mm system

DG10: GM Sierra or Silverado 2500 & 3500 2 438 mm (2020-current) – New “wide” bed width – 1 981 mm system

The DECKED Tool Box weighs 51,48 kg with a ladder and 45,81 kg without a ladder.

The storage capacity is 277,84 liter.

The DECKED Tool Box is made from high impact polymer resin and anti-corrosion treated steel hardware. The DECKED Tool Box is dent-proof, waterproof, rust-proof and built to last. The lid is made of steel reinforced, injection molded ASA resin. The base is made of injection molded, impact treated, high density polyethylene.

The hardware is made of anti-corrosion treated steel.

It has a robust and steel-armored locking system and steel reinforced lid making it a Fort Knox for the back of your truck.

The optional telescoping step ladder is made from 6063 T6 series aluminum.

The DECKED Tool Box is waterproof. The contents inside your tool box are guaranteed to be protected from the elements, car washes and other extreme moisture events. If you do get moisture inside your tool box, you can drill a small hole in the base of your tool box in the provided divot holes. This will allow any standing water from the moisture/condensation to drain without having to remove your tool box.

Because it’s molded not welded, you get a seamless lid and tub as well as overbuilt moisture repelling, watertight architecture, which is sealed tightly when closed thanks to an EPDM lid gasket and channel. Anti-corrosion treated steel and aluminum hardware make for long-lasting durability.

The DECKED Tool Box has been tested at extremely high temperatures and has passed flammability certifications. HDPE is self extinguishing.

Unfortunately, the DECKED Tool Box does not work with RamBox trucks.

The DECKED Tool Box also does not fit in Service Body or Stepside trucks.

The DECKED Tool Box weighs 51,48 kg with a ladder and 45,81 kg without a ladder.

There are multiple tie down point options on the sides of the tool box that allow you to choose how far away from your cab you place the tool box.

The DECKED Tool Box ships by National reputable courier, and all deliveries we dispatch are accompanied by a tracking number.

The shipping fee for a DECKED Tool Box in Sweden is 500 SEK, in Denmark and Finland it is 1000 SEK and in Norway it is 2000 SEK.

The shipping fee excludes Norwegian area codes 5000 – 6999, 8000 – 9999. The delivery cost for these (remote) area codes is very high, so an additional fee will be added manually. Feel free to contact us at [email protected] for details.

The ladder can currently only be installed on the passenger side of your truck.

For convenient toolbox access, we offer an optional, integrated ladder. This low-profile, telescoping 7000 series aluminum ladder nests inside the box when closed and quickly folds out to the ground when you need to access your tools and gear. This eliminates the hassle of crawling in and out of your truck and makes it more likely you will use your toolbox regularly.

The DECKED Tool Box can be ordered with or without a ladder. You will see both options at checkout. If you don’t choose the ladder option, you will not be able to order a ladder separately.

The max bedrail height that the ladder can work with is 1 524 mm, which leaves a margin to account for uneven ground.

Erect the ladder as vertically as possible and not at a 75 degree angle.

Click here for more information on installing and using the ladder.

Our ladder is a medium duty ladder, similar to anything you’d find at a local hardware store.

Note: CargoGlide is compatible with the all Tundras and Tacomas if installed with a DECKED Drawer System. Did somebody say combo?

Most likely yes, but with some alterations to your tailgate. Check tailgate clearance before installation. Some tailgates don’t lay flat when open, which will cause binding when extending the CargoGlide tray.

General rule: the highest point on your tailgate when open must be less than 3/4″ above your truck bed floor to ensure compatibility. Before drilling into your bed, test the fit according to our installation instructions.

We offer easy-to-install spacer/riser kits or shoulder bolts for current GMC/Chevy trucks known to have this issue. Contact us with any questions at [email protected].
